• There are two Japanese B2 designs for this film. This one is known as "Style B." (See "Style A" here.)
  
• The Wrath of Khan was released in Japan February 26, 1983.
• This exact design was also used for a chirashi for this film (a chirashi is a Japanese mini poster/program, usually about 8" x 10", folded, with film information on the inside).
  
• The text block at the lower left is comprised of cast names; on the right are the names of the crew (e.g. director, producer). The vertical text in blue at the top left is very roughly translated as "Star battle with Enterprise V.S. The decisive battle with the evil emperor Khan, who aims for his rightful place in space, begins!"
• As with the Bob Peak art, the Enterprise is shown firing on Regula I.
