• Star Trek IV was released in Australia December 18, 1986.
  
• This artwork was also used for the international one-sheet for this film, where there are at least a couple of slight differences in the art. On the one-sheet version, the "O" in VOYAGE is stylized as a textured metallic sphere, referencing the probe that menaces 23rd-century Earth in the film. Also, the film's logotype is outlined on the one-sheet, whereas it is solid white on the Australian daybill.
• This artwork was also used for several other international posters for this film.
