  • From the Memory Alpha entry for AMT: "For the occasion of Star Trek's 30th anniversary, AMT/Ertl commissioned the production of two cutaway posters of the USS Enterprise-A and USS Enterprise-D and inserted those in their 1995-1996 model kit issues as a bonus." One of two stickers on each box indicated which of the two posters could be found inside. The sticker shown below (click to enlarge) denotes the Enterprise-D poster.

Star Trek 25th Anniversary Poster - Tom Jung Art (1991)


Star Trek 25th Anniversary (1991) retail poster featuring art by Tom Jung. This poster measures 20" x 30".

Greenberg’s lists this poster as follows: “To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before,” titled work executed by artist Tom Jung in blues, pale golds, and flesh tones with art scene inset on broad black border with silver outlining. Shows head portraits of Captains Kirk and Picard beneath rear view of movie Enterprise and cloudy sunburst. Poster title is lettered on top with “25th Anniversary 1966-1991” on the bottom.” Original retail price $25. Part of “The Official Star Trek Silver Anniversary Commemorative Art Collection Series” issued by the Starstruck Corporation (one of two in the series). These were limited edition fine art poster prints on heavy paper stock.

The Jung artwork was also used as the VHS box art for the home video release of the Star Trek 25th Anniversary TV special, shown below.
